Business Traveler Lodging

A business traveler, single occupancy Sunday through Thursday rate may be available. Inquire if you are traveling the area on business or have a business group you’d like to bring in for a weekday strategy or board meeting. Includes full breakfast.

Extended Stay rates are available. Rates will vary based on seasonality, availability, breakfast service needs and your requested length of stay. Please call to discuss the number of rooms, dates, availability and length of stay.

It is my hope we can find you an economical rate for an extended stay in a home environment. Your leisure time may be minimal and may not be able to take in a lot of the extras, but am hopeful the homemade cookies and other amenities will make your stay comfortable.

Whispering Pines is happy to offer free WiFi access to our guests throughout the property. We are happy to print a few documents for you if need be. Parking is free and not on the street.

Our normal hosted check-in times are between the hours of 4 and 6 PM. But, we are happy to accommodate check-ins at other times with advance notice. And, we do understand that travel does not always go as planned, so just be in touch if things change and we’ll do our best to work around your schedule. We also have self check-in procedures that allow for an “unhosted” check-in in case the innkeeper cannot greet you when you arrive.

I realize that you may need to hit the road early and there is no reason to do that on an empty stomach! I am happy to provide breakfast as early as 6 am for the business traveler. A lighter or healthier fare breakfast is also available. Whether you prefer homemade pastries, fruit, yogurt, homemade granola, or just juice and coffee or hot tea. We can even prepare a breakfast taco or sandwich “TO GO” that you can reheat later or when you arrive at your destination. We have options! Please let me know of this request no later than the day prior to your stay.

Lenient Cancellation Policy

Having traveled for work for many years, I know that the business traveler cannot always predict where and when they will need to be. Because of this, I offer the business traveler a relaxed cancellation and change policy. If for any reason your plans change, contact us by noon on the day prior to the date of your scheduled arrival to cancel or change your plans (based on availability) without penalty. Of course, the travel must have been booked under the business traveler package by phone to qualify for this accommodation, you must have a confirmation number that refers to a business booking to qualify and this does not qualify for long-term, special extended stay rates.

Best of all, I am happy to provide you with a quiet and home away from home atmosphere to unwind after your hectic work or travel days. Enjoy a glass of tea (wine or beers) on the veranda, relax in the hot tub under the moon and stars, take a few minutes for yourself, I won’t tell!

Whispering Pines Bed and Breakfast is a great venue for small business luncheons, dinners, meetings or retreats.
