Cooking Class: All About Apples
Sep 8 @ 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm

Pork TenderloinSweet, crisp, tart and juicy. Of course there is apple pie, but we’ll cover other ways to serve up these delicious fruits. We’ll do a review on the different types of apples and which varieties are great for cooking. From appetizers and drinks to one of its traditional pairing with pork, then ending with dessert. You’ll be ready to head to the orchard for that peck of apples and get started cooking your apples. This is a limited hands-on demonstration.

Class is offered through Southeast Community College. Register by Wednesday, 8/30 online.


Cooking Class: Sushi 101
Oct 30 @ 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm

Sushi 101

You will be introduced to the four main styles of sushi rolls, including Hosomaki (cucumber), Uramaki (California Roll), Temaki (tuna- raw), and Kazari Yin & Yang (seafood medley). The class begins with a presentation about the history of sushi and proper sushi etiquette. Then, you master four different types of rolls by utilizing four other techniques and eat them as you go. Prizes for the best roll in each category are awarded! Everything is supplied for you. It is ample dinner size, but edamame, Asian salad, and a sweet ending are also provided.

Cooking Class: Holiday Charcuterie Board

Charcuterie – what did you say?  It’s all the rage!


The “char-cu-te-rie” board. Join us to learn about all the fun ways to prepare and assemble a fabulous tray to wow your friends and family at your next get together.  They are so simple to put together with a combination of on-hand pantry staples like meats, cheeses, jams, crackers, bread sticks, olives or planned home-made items such as candied nuts, pickled veggies, hummus, and more!  And, we’ll teach you how to say it, too!

An optional take-away cutting board available for purchase!

Class registration fee will be dependent on the number of students; for groups of 3 – 7 students, cost is $69/person. (We already have 2 students interested).
