Traveling with Pets at Whispering Pines

Pet-Friendly Accommodations at Whispering Pines B&B

At Whispering Pines Bed & Breakfast, we understand that for many guests, your pet is part of the family. We are happy to welcome well-mannered companions in select accommodations with a few simple guidelines to help ensure a relaxing stay for all guests.

With six acres of grounds to explore, private outdoor entrances, and nearby walking areas, Whispering Pines makes a wonderful home base for traveling with your companion.

Traveling with Other Companion Animals

While most guests travel with dogs, Whispering Pines may also accommodate other well-behaved companion animals in select situations. If you are traveling with a cat, bird, rabbit, or other companion animal, please contact us prior to booking so we can help determine the best accommodations for your stay.

Pet Guest Policies

To help maintain a comfortable experience for all guests, we ask pet owners to review the following guidelines prior to arrival:

  • Pets must be registered with Whispering Pines prior to arrival.
  • A nightly pet fee applies.
  • Maximum of three pets per room.
  • Pets must be housebroken and appropriately restrained while on property.
  • Pets may not be left unattended unless secured in a kennel or carrier.
  • Pets are not permitted in indoor common areas or dining spaces.
  • Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pet both on property and in the surrounding neighborhood.
  • Excessive barking or disruptive behavior must be addressed promptly.
  • Guests are responsible for any damages or excessive cleaning resulting from their pet.

Whispering Pines reserves the right to require removal of any pet or terminate a stay due to unsafe or disruptive behavior.

Traveling with a Service Animal

Whispering Pines B&B welcomes guests traveling with trained service animals in accordance with ADA guidelines. Service animals assisting guests with disabilities are welcome throughout the property, including guest rooms and common areas. While service animals are not subject to pet fees or pet restrictions, we do ask that:

  • Service animals remain under the control of their handler at all times.
  • Service animals are housebroken and well behaved in public spaces.
  • Guests are responsible for any damages caused during their stay.
  • Disruptive or aggressive behavior may require removal of the animal from the premises in accordance with ADA guidelines.
To help us prepare for your arrival and provide the best possible experience, we appreciate guests completing our brief Service Animal Acknowledgment prior to arrival.

For Guests with Allergies or Sensitivities

Whispering Pines designates specific guest rooms as pet-friendly accommodations, while other rooms are reserved for guests not traveling with pets whenever possible.

Indoor common areas remain pet-free except for trained service animals in accordance with ADA guidelines.

We understand that some guests may have allergies or sensitivities to animals. Our team routinely performs thorough cleaning throughout all guest rooms and common areas, and we are always happy to discuss accommodations or room recommendations prior to your stay.

While we make every reasonable effort to accommodate guests with sensitivities, we cannot guarantee an entirely animal-free environment.
