Location

The retreat will be held at the beautiful Whispering Pines Bed & Breakfast in historic Nebraska City, NE. The B&B is located in an 1878 Victorian Farmhouse that sits on 6 pastoral acres has 5 themed bedrooms. A large common area is perfect for meeting, dining and gathering, with side rooms available for small breakouts. The outdoor hot tub is under the stars and a great way to relax and unwind.

Retreat Pricing

Private Room/Single Occupancy: $549

Shared Room/Double Occupancy: $399 (per person)
Cost includes workshop fees, materials, 6 meals & 2 night’s lodging.
Non-lodging package: $269 (includes above less lodging)
50% down payment and the remaining amount is due at retreat.

A little about your retreat hosts

TinaDia-PhotoTina Dia is a painter, muralist, and bookmaking artist of 25 years who resides in Nebraska City, Nebraska. She received a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1994 while focusing on Illustration and graphic design.

Today, Tina enjoys teaching and has begun creating a series of large paintings that illustrate her love for the natural elements that Nebraska offers.

Jodie Kluthe is a Licensed Massaged Therapist since 2011. She has worked with the Omaha Knight Hawks, the Creighton soccer team and other various sports organizations around the area. Her certifications include: Neuro muscular Therapy, Sports Massage and Trager Work.

Katie-Radke-HeadshotKatie Radke is a graphic designer, web developer, mixed media artist, and dreamer of big dreams. She resides in Nebraska City with her husband and son. She is the owner of KR Creative where she works as a graphic designer and also teaches art classes locally. Katie is also a published poet and loves to express herself creatively and inspire others to do the same.

Dr-Connie-HeadshotDr. Connie Reimers-Hild is a married mompreneur, futurist, author of more than 100 articles and several books, including Go Wild with Confidence!, and Blue the Bee Learns to be Happy.

She has taught and coached over 25,000 people from around the world, and is focused on helping women and girls achieve their global leadership potential. Dr. Connie is a Firewalker, Mini Wiener Dog Lover and 80’s Hair Band Fanatic!

Wendy Schroeder, Ph.D. is a Yoga Alliance 200 hour registered yoga instructor and an occupational therapist with 26 years of experience in various areas of practice. Dr. Schroeder pursued her yoga instructor certification to enhance her ability to help individuals achieve physical, mental and emotional balance in their lives.

JJeanna-Stavas-Headshoteanna Stavas has been owner/innkeeper at Whispering Pines B&B for just over 10 years, is a foodie at heart and a self-taught cook. Although baking in the kitchen with her mother since a child, the explosion of interest in the culinary arts came from her life experiences traveling the world, sampling everything she could and as a former runner and tri-athlete, finding healthy, nutritional alternatives that still tasted good. She enjoys sharing her passion for food with all ages teaching her unique and fun cooking classes.
