Welcome to Whispering Pines Spring Finds Behind the Pines

Our 2024 Spring Find launches Arbor Day week, April 22 and goes through May 31!

Whispering Pines B&B invites you to come behind the pines and meander our 6 acres of flower and water gardens.

Stop by our welcome log, say hello to Lumberjack Larry.  Inside the mailbox, you’ll find a list to guide you on an exploration around our property. Below you’ll find a graphic legend with some helpful hints.

Take a selfie with the Award Winning 300-year-old Great Grandpa Oak Tree or your favorite finds – scout around for other Spring Tree-inspired discoveries.

Take a selfie’s with your favorite ‘Spring find behind the Pines’, # and enter to win!

 

 

  1. Window to the waterfall – Find the frame hanging from our 80 year old Northern White Spruce and take your selfie with the with the waterfall in the background.
  2. It’s a “Party on the patio” – Head over the the brick patio with the Lindon Tree Canopy.  Have a seat on our antique furniture or on our Pine Bench – made from our 95 year old Scotch Pine.
  3. Great Grandpa Oakley is over 300 years old! Find the selfie frame in the tree near the firepit and get a snap of our Award Winning Oak tree in the background
  4. Bistro under the birch – Sit for a spell in our Antique Bistro table under the birch and contemplate life while you enjoy the view
  5. Purple flowered Redbud among Woodlands – Head to the Northeast corner of our property and locate the beautiful blooming Redbud snuggled into the woodlands.
  6. Swing into spring under Uncle Oakley, (Also likely 300-ish years old.) Once hit by lightening and once home to a family of raccoons, he stands a proud oak!
