Come learn to grill pizza for a purpose and support Leadership Nebraska City!
Leadership Nebraska City is an amazing program. I am a Class #2 graduate (best class ever) and member of the Advisory Council and believe those who complete the class receive a world of benefit! It’s been going now for just over a decade and last week, Class #13 finished their first year!
Over the past two years, we’ve been working towards raising $20,000 for a Challenge Grant to help sustain the program, provide training to alumni and the community and scholarships to the program.
For this class, on May 22, 2018, Whispering Pines B&B will donate half of the class fee to the LNC Challenge Grant.
CLASS DETAILS
Come Hungry!
From top to bottom, we’ll prepare the dough, make the sauces, chop and dice, sauté and bake pizza on the grill.
We’ll create a traditional garlic, herb red sauce and specialty sauces, like a white roasted garlic and feta and a Thai peanut sauce. We’ll experiment with a variety of pizza’s and toppings and some favorite combinations; including a dessert pizza! A fun night of cooking filled with flavors.
You’ll take home pizza dough, recipes and you’ll never call for take-out pizza again!
